The Greyhounds' men's team, coming off its third Patriot League Championship in the last four years, will welcome Johns Hopkins, Towson and Duke to Ridley Athletic Complex this spring. The home opener against Johns Hopkins on February 17 will once again feature a battle, as two of the last three Charles Street rivalry games hosted at Ridley have been one-goal affairs, with the 2014 meeting being a sellout and the 2016 edition approaching capacity.
In addition to Johns Hopkins, Towson and Duke, Loyola will face Lafayette, Bucknell, Boston University and Army West Point in Patriot League action. The Greyhounds will also host North Carolina and Richmond in preseason scrimmages that are free of charge.
Loyola's women's team will look to capture its fourth Patriot League title since joining the League for the 2014 season. The Greyhounds will host eight games at Ridley Athletic Complex this spring, with all four of the Greyhounds' non-conference opponents -- Towson, Princeton, Virginia and Syracuse - advancing to last year's NCAA Tournament. Loyola's conference slate will bring Army West Point, American, Lafayette and Holy Cross to Baltimore.
